State by State Gun Laws

Link Link This link takes you to the NRAs Institute for Legislative Affairs home page. Once there if you scroll down a little bit you will see a section titled Know Your State's Gun Laws. You can scroll down to any state and get a synopsis of that states gun laws. While they make every effort to keep these pages current there is a possibility that something may have been missed. You are advised to use this as a starting point for your research and go to the individual states legsilature pages for the absolute most current up-to-date information possible.

 Also on each states pages are the reciprocity maps. This means that you can see what states recognize that states concealed carry permit, and what states the selected stated recognizes for concealed carry.
